Mechanics help people by fixing cars and keeping them safe to drive. They do things like oil changes, fixing brakes, and repairing engines to make sure cars run well. Mechanics keep cars safe and reliable, so people can get to work, school, and other places. They also help protect the environment by fixing problems that cause pollution, like broken engines or exhaust systems. In this picture, I stripped a car, taking it apart carefully to save any usable parts. These parts can be reused to fix other vehicles, which saves money and reduces waste. It also helps protect the environment by recycling materials instead of throwing them away.
What surprised me most was how fun it was working with cars and how accomplished I feel after doing a lot to a car and immediately seeing the results. I stripped this car and I was able to get through the entire process without getting bored or stopping for long. It wasn't tedious and the entire thing was interesting. I liked seeing all the parts that go into building a car and making it work. I learned a lot and had fun doing it. This made the job not feel like work at all, helping me realize how much I liked hands-on work with cars.
