Gain hands-on experience, connect with healthcare professionals, and establish a solid foundation for your future career. Rising 9th graders (current 8th grade students at HCMS), make sure you maintain a B average in all your classes, a good disciplinary record, and keep an eye out for Ms. Archer when she visits Hertford County Middle School. Rising 10th-graders maintain a 3.00 GPA and a good disciplinary record, and be on the lookout for visits to your Hertford County High School, Hertford County Early College, and C.S. Brown STEM High School! Applications open January 5, 2026, and close March 29, 2026! HCPS students should check their email weekly for updates and the application link.
