Season 2 Highlights

The format of Season 2 was similar to the first season, consisting primarily of announcements, random interviews, and sketches. A second camera was added in the fall. ALTV's logo, designed by a student and still in use today, made its debut in November. In February, ALTV joined the Student Television Network (STN) and opened its website and livestream platform on U.S. Education TV. A major turning point came in March 2013 when U.S. Education TV awarded ALTV $5,000 as its "Best Middle School."

With the award money ALTV upgraded its equipment and entered the world of livestreaming. ALTV's first live internet broadcast took place in late May.
