Season 13 Highlights

• In November 2023, two student entries were awarded 3rd and 5th place in the National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA) Broadcast Story contest.

• In March 2024, eight students attended the Student Television Network (STN) Convention in Long Beach, California. This was ALTV's first appearance at the convention since the 2019 STN Convention in Seattle. The students entered three contests: Crazy 8s News Show, News Story, and Human Interest Story. STN Convention highlights are in shows 13.5 and 13.6.

• In May 2024, two ALTV entries placed in the Journalism Education Association (JEA) Junior High & Middle School National Media Contest in the Broadcast News category. For Armand Larive Middle School, one entry involving four students received a “Superior” rating, and the other by a solo student received honorable mention.
