Student Highlights
AIA High School Design Challenge
The AIA Atlanta High School Design Competition (HSDC), invites the participation of students from all over the state of Georgia to compete in an extensive architecture design challenge! This competition gives high school students an engaging platform to develop their design skills and showcase their talent. The AIA challenge forces students to delve deeper into the realm of architecture and solve complex problems regarding site and programmatic adjacencies. Judges look for pragmatic solutions to the challenge, for good design, attention to details and, of course, creativity.
Architectural Drafting SkillsUSA Competition
Current Architecture II students are selected by their instructor, or participate in a local competition, to compete at the state level for the SkillsUSA Architecture Drafting competition where they compete against the best architectural drafters in the state. Students who place 1st at the state level are afforded the opportunity to compete at the national level for architecture.
