THS Schedule Change Policy
Schedule changes will only be considered for the following criteria:
An incomplete schedule.
Course already completed.
Scheduled into a duplicate class.
Prerequisite not met (includes level changes based upon prior academic performance)
Movement of Early Release or Late Start period.
Missing graduation requirement.
Course level placement issue.
Schedule changes will not be made to:
Change a teacher.
Change the order of classes.
Drop an AP/Dual Enrollment class.
Drop a class that would prevent the student from meeting A-G requirements.
Any request to drop an AP or Dual Enrollment class or any student requesting to drop a class that is needed to meet A-G requirements, will require a parent meeting that include an administrator and the student’s counselor.
