House System

We are exceptionally proud of our House System. Students and alumni tell us that it is a valuable and wonderful part of their experience in the school. The House System plays a key part in The HHEx for all students.

Our House System is made up of 7 Houses;

Ashridge Chalfont Flaunden Gaddesden Latimer Nettleden Pendley

Each House is led by a team of Senior & Junior House Captains who are responsible for leading their House in a variety of House Events & Challenges throughout the year. Student leaders also organise and lead many of our House Events.

Throughout the academic year students collect House Points in a variety of activities to contribute to their House. The winning House at the end of the year wins the House Cup!

HHEx House Assemblies during 'lockdown'

Each week during the Summer 2020 and Spring 2021 COVID 'lock downs', we produce a House Assembly for students so that they can continue The HHEx from home. We use these assemblies to share the theme of the week, to celebrate achievement and to introduce the weekly House Challenge.

The link to the weekly assemblies are shared directly with students and can also be seen on our YouTube Channel here The HHEx on YouTube
