Academic Coaching is a service provided to help students flourish at Heidelberg.
Sometimes students struggle in class and it is not just because the content is difficult. Plenty of students find navigating classes, new schedules, exams, and personal commitments difficult. Academic coaching is meant to provide students with support to find what works for you when it comes to academic success.
Academic coaching appointments are individualized one-on-one meetings concerning your needs. Whether you want an exam plan, to create a schedule planner, work on procrastination, work on reading comprehension, learn study skills/processes, find motivation, and so much more, we can help you. Each coach will work to get to know you and your preferences to create the best possible plan.
Coaching is not just for students struggling with school. It is also helpful for students who want to maximize their personal time or just want to stay ahead of the curve.
*Academic Coaching schedule is based on the coach's schedule and is subject to change each week based on prior commitments. If you need an appointment and none of our coaches are available, please make an appointment with the Academic Coaching Coordinator, Erin Smith. She is in the office from 8-5pm in BEE 105.
