Post-it Note Connect4 

Make your next assignment into a game! 

1. Divide into teams

2. Each team is assigned a different color of Post-it note

3. Display the game board on your projector or IFP

4. Teams take turns answering questions. 

5. Answers can be written on Post-it notes and brought to the teacher to check. 

6. Teacher checks the answer. 

7. Correct answers allow someone from the team to place one post-it into a white circle, claiming your spot. Incorrect answers will be sent back to the group for reworking. 

8. The first team to connect 4 post-its of their color wins!

9. Clear the board and start again with the questions that are left. 

Different versions of play: 

• Go one question at a time for the whole class - Make it a race to be the first group with the answer. 

• Make it self-paced - Groups answer the questions at their own pace, check the answer with the teacher, place Post-its, then repeat as quickly as they can. 

• Assign each group certain questions - Give each group a different set of questions to answer that practice the same skill/content.
