Find your desired video on YouTube

Copy the URL

Go to Canvas Studio and click the +add button in the top right corner

Paste your URL into the right side of the pop up. 

Click "Add Video" 

Go to your Canvas Studio library and locate the video you want to use.

Click on the three dots on the grey banner at the bottom of the video card.

Choose "Create Quiz" 

Watch video, pausing when you want to add a question. 

Hit the circular + to create one of three question types to insert there. 

• Multiple choice

• True or false

• Multiple answer 

Add all the questions desired and hit "Done" in the upper right corner

Go to your Canvas and create a new assignment. 

Give it a title

Type any instructions you want them to read in the rich content editor.

Scroll down to submission type and choose "External Tool" 

Scan the list for "Canvas Studio" and select it. (should be at the top)

From the pop up select your video. 

Under the video there is a tab that says "Quizzes" Click on it, select your Quiz from the drop down. (Can't skip this step!)

Then click the blue button that says "Embed"

The External tool window will come back up, simply hit select again and it will go away. 

Save and publish!
