In Week 10 we had 3 performances and kicked off the fundraiser! In just 24 hours from the kick-off this amazing band community has already raised 10,000 dollars! That is halfway to our goal of 20k. These funds go directly back into the experience we provide to these young musicians and their music education. We hope you will continue to share the donation links with family and friends through the end of the fundraiser on October 31st.

Beginner Band had their debut performance on Tuesday! Each section did their best performing their section song! We are very proud of the progress made so far. You won't believe the improvement when you see them next at the Winter Concert on December 18th!
Woodwind and Brass students should continue to use Make Music to submit lines from their Essential Elements book, these are not just grades but can help them earn their Band Olympian medal for this six weeks! Students who earn gold medals are featured on our wall of honor!
Questions to ask your beginner:
How did you feel about your individual performance at the concert?
You have two weeks left in the six weeks, are you planning to be a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Medalist? (3 vs 5 vs 7 lines).

Even in a short week we made big improvements towards our Fall Concert performance! This weekend is student's last opportunity to submit assignments for Heroes Triumphant and Dark Star! Our concert is on Monday evening and following that assignments can no longer be submitted. Completing these assignments is not only important for their grade but helps ensure that students are prepared to perform their part. Once the concert is over we will get new music for our winter concert and continue working toward completing our scale project of 7 scales! Two weeks to push to meet our grade and assignment goals!
Both Concert and Symphonic band students did a great job bringing the hype at our pep rally and football games! Coaches from both the home and visiting teams thanked and complemented our band for being there to help take the game to the next level!
