It was a festive week in the Bedford JH band! On Monday night, we hosted our fundriaser reward night at Movie Tavern and watched a holiday classic The Grinch! Beginners had their second full band rehearsal this week and Symphonic band visited the elemenataries on on annual winter tour today! Symphonic band loved meeting our future Broncos and getting them excited about the possibility of band at BJH! Next week we will host a special Christmas themed "Pizza and Practice" on Tuesday the 17th from 3:45-5pm. Bring your $5 for pizza and a bag of candy to contribute to our Christmas Candy Salad!

Our beginner band had their second beginner rehearsal yesterday and it was awesome! The kids are so excited to impress our audience on Wednesday with their two tunes and show you all of the growth they have made this semester! Students should have Penguin Promenade, Band on the Houestop, #31, #36, and #42 turned in on Make Music!

95 Beginners in their first full band rehearsal!
Concert Band is just about concert ready for next week! This week's rehearsals have been so productive and we have made big improvements! We are so excited to play these fun tunes for our families and community this coming Wednesday! Students should have all of their concert assignments turned in at this point. Any missing assignments can be completed through the day of the concert but not after. Following the concert we will get a chance to sightread some options for our next concert cycle!

Wednesday, December 18th - Winter Concert: Concert Band will be in seats in the audience by 6:45 with their binders and no cases. All students will wear their formal band attire with tall black socks and black formal shoes.
🎅 Everyone's favorite day of the year, the Elementary Winter Tour was today! The Symphonic band did a fabulous job spreading holiday cheer and loved meeting our future Broncos and getting them excited about the possibility of band at BJH! This Wednesday our jazz band put on our 3rd annual Christmas Cafe with 10 soloists and 2 full band performances! Our band families and friends enjoyed hot coco and dessert while raising funds for our jazz band. We so appreciate all of the support by attending and purchasing from the cafe!
Jazz Band will have our last rehearsal Tuesday morning from 7:15-8am to make final touch ups before our winter concert.
