The topic for our Essay Contest this year is “Can Society Function Without Respect?” Each student who is under the age of 18 - as of October 1, 2018 - who submits a 700-800 word essay is eligible to win the Club Award, and will then be entered into the District Competition to win a $2500 scholarship.

The topic for our Oratorical Contest this year is “Is there a fine line between optimism and reality? ”. This contest is gives the students, under the age of 19 as of October 1, 2018 the opportunity to win up to $22,500 in scholarships if they advance to the World Oratorical Championship.

(CFUW) - Milton and District presents annual scholarships to female high school graduates proceeding to post-secondary education at the university, college or trade schools. Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement, and outstanding leadership and citizenship qualities both in school and the community. Candidates must live in Milton or attend a school in Milton.

Applicants must be going to a recognized University or College in Canada.

CFUW Awards are available to residents of Halton Hills who can demonstrate involvement in both school and community activities and who are enrolling in first year degree or diploma courses at an accredited post-secondary institution.

The Oakville, Milton and District Real Estate Board is proud to support local-area graduating high school students with monetary gifts. Winning submissions will best answer one of six questions, which pertain to shelter-based or local community issues. Four students receive an amount of $2,500 for their submissions.

The Georgetown Soccer Club is proud to celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2018 and proud to continue to award $500 scholarships to one graduating student from Georgetown District High School and one graduating student from Christ the King Catholic Secondary School to support post-secondary education. The scholarships are named in honour of Eustace Collins, a long-time Georgetown Soccer Club volunteer who exemplified hard work and a strong commitment and love of soccer. We recognize the effort and dedication required to graduate high school and pursue post-secondary education.

Knox Presbyterian Church Artist Assistance Fund

The intent of this program is assist any student in the Acton area to fulfill their artistic dreams in any of the arts (music, drama, acting, etc). Please see the Acton High School Guidance office for specific details.
