Well, I suppose you would like to know a little about your new teacher! Here it goes....

Dear Parents, Guardians, Extended Family Members and, or course, Students,

I was born in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. I have a younger brother who is also a Grade 3 teacher, except he lives in Australia! I have been a Grade 3/4 teacher at Martin Street for 13 years. Martin Street is the best school, has the best teachers and best students in the world! I love House Colour Fridays! Everyone wears their House Colour shirts and we have floor hockey games in the gym! We love our neighbourhood! The peaceful and beautiful Mill Pond is only a short walk away, and makes for a great place to do our annual Terry Fox Walk!

I love to travel! I was lucky enough to have the chance to go to Australia to complete my Masters of Teaching and Master of Education university degrees (after high school) so that I could become a teacher. I taught most grades from Grade 1 all the way up to Grade 12 in high school. I even learned how to surf and scuba dive ....in shark infested waters! I like to spend my summers at my cottage (where there are NO sharks!) and ski in the winter.

I LOVE teaching Grade 3 and 4!
