The Faculty are excited to announce that we have a trip lined up for our Yr 10 for the beginning of the Yr 11 ART GCSE. Letters to come out to you soon, such a great opportunity to enjoy this wonderful space and the fabulous Artworks that you can see at the Tate Modern London. This will be supporting students work into yr 11.
The faculty are so excited to be delivering their new Yr 9 SOL ready to roll out for 2025/26. This will see all students exploring the arts with some photography skills combined in an engaging body of lessons. As well as Food/ Graphics & DT short focused projects with then the opportunity to specialise in just one before GCSE option processes. This really will allow our yr 9 to have an enriched experience within this Faculty area.
Thrilled to now have a cohort of students taking us up on our offer of a GCSE in photography. Our first group of students will start this coming year 2025, after a foundation course in Yr 9. It will great to see their outcomes. Teachers of the new course will be Mrs Craigie, Miss Garner and Mrs Jacobsen. Watch this space!
