More About the Program

This program provides high school students with a very unique opportunity to tell their story, and to support passion for writing with the guidance and expertise from five award winning authors. Students selected to be part of this program will be provided with monthly feedback on their short story and also be invited to participate in monthly writing workshops featuring tips and tricks for polishing their words from our author experts. Additionally, students will participate in field trip at the beginning of November to meet their author mentors, build community, and get inspired to write their story. To conclude your experience, your work may be selected for publication in the Navigating the Margins short story collection.
