GES had a bus driver breakfast for the beginning of the school year. Our Green Team Students (2 students in gr. 3 and 4) talked to them about the importance of no bus-idling and gave them a brochure to read and to sign the pledge for no bus-idling.
The Green Team students presented the No Bus -Idling Campaign for GES.
Our Green Team Students and other students (4 students in gr. 2-5) took data of the bus idling in the morning and afternoon. They had a stop watch to time the busses who went over the 3 to 5 min rule.

Our Bridges Green Team technology students made the no bus-idling signs on the computers. They were hard laminated then were hung up on the post outside to designate the are for no bus-idling zone. Cars were also included.
The Bridges Green Team students (10 students gr. 3-5) made posters to put on the walls in staff lounge for bus drivers to see when they visit to remind them of No - Bus Idling.
Our Bridges Green Team Technology students (10 students in gr. 3-5) made certificates to give to the bus drivers for their participation in the No -Idling campaign.
