This domain recognises the student’s participation in school-based Co-curricular Activities (CCA) for the development of specific knowledge and skills, be it in Clubs and Societies (C&S), Physical Sports, Uniformed Groups (UG) or Visual and Performing Arts (VPA). Sustained engagement over four to five years in a chosen CCA allows for the progressive development of skills and knowledge, character development, forging of friendships and building of team spirit.

Some important guidelines include:
CCA is compulsory for all students in secondary school.
Students who stay in the same CCA across 4 years will be rewarded with a higher level of recognition (Level 4 instead of Level 3).
To obtain Level 5, the student must exhibit exemplary conduct and active contribution to the CCA (e.g. leadership roles).
Note:
Students who do not meet 75% attendance for each term will be accorded demerit points if their absence is not substantiated with the necessary documentation (e.g. medical certificate).
Attendance at 2nd CCA (for selected students) will not be considered for Participation. However, students who want to have a 2nd CCA but do not meet the expected attendance of the CCA can be subjected to disciplinary actions by the school (e.g. demerit points, dismissal).
