Grading

Each year, the school administration will provide students a current copy of their LEAPS report to check and amend the records based on their participation/achievement in both CCA and non-CCA domains.

Students must ensure they check the records fully to ensure no missing entries or errors in their records. The school is not obliged to amend/add new entries from previous years if students did not flag out any discrepancies.

At the end of Secondary 4, students will receive a full report of their LEAPS report. The report will provide an overall grade - Excellent, Good or Fair - depending on the Levels attained across the four domains as follows:

• Excellent - minimum three Level 3s and one Level 4

• Good - minimum Level 1 across all four domains with (i) at least three Level 2s, (ii) one Level 2 with one Level 3 or (iii) one Level 4

• Fair - fail to meet the requirements for Good grading

Once a student graduates from High School at the end of Secondary 4, his LEAPS records will be archived within the MOE Cockpit system and no amendments will be possible.

Students who are taking the 'O' Levels at the end of Secondary 4 shall enjoy deduction of their L1R4/L1R5 points based on the following LEAPS Grade:

• Excellent - 2 bonus points

• Good - 1 bonus point

• Fair - no bonus point
