E-Transcript Verification
Dear Early and Regular US Applicants,
(only for students applying to US Universities)
1) What is an e-transcript ?
It is a document detailing your final results from Sec 3, Sec 4/O level, J1 Overall, Higher Chinese, Project Work, Prelim, Predicted Grades/A level results.
2) What is it used for ?
An important part of the US application review. This is usually the first document they review in detail as it contains important information regarding your academic performance.
3) What do I need to do ?
Ms Carina Lee will be emailing you your e-transcript on a rolling basis, as long as you have input a US university by 25 Sep. Once you have received the email, check the e-transcript to ensure that there are no errors. Attention must be paid to all results including Sec 3, Sec 4/O-level. Crucial!
NOTE: If you have not input at least 1 US university, Ms Carina Lee will not be able to send you the e-transcript, so please remember this step. As we churn out the report every week with numerous students, please be patient in receiving your e-transcript.
4) How do I follow up if there are discrepancies?
Please email Ms Carina Lee (leemc@hci.edu.sg) of the discrepancies (attach the coloured scanned copy of your cert/results slip) and we will make the changes. Easy!
6) I am a DSA/JAE student. How do I submit my Sec 3 Overall Results?
Please email Ms Carina Lee (leemc@hci.edu.sg) the coloured scanned copy of your Sec 3 results slip in PDF format.
6) Why do I need to check ?
Offers from universities will be rescinded if there are errors on the e-transcript and students are dishonest.
7) When must I do this ?
Add a school on Common app by 25 Sep and see that it appears on Cialfo as well.

Please verbally ask your teachers first if they are willing to support your [overseas] universities/scholarship applications by writing you a reference letter. Once they have agreed, you may fill up the Teachers’ Reference Request Form and submit it to them (via email).
NOTE: Limit of 1 CT + 2 subject teachers on CIALFO. If you must request for an optional recommender, please utilise “Other Recommenders” on Common App. Refer to the US FAQ.
