Scholarships

Start early! There are many scholarships for sophomores and juniors! Consider applying the saving for college. When you apply to a college, you can qualify for institutional scholarships - scholarships the college hosts. APPLY EARLY! These are generally given to students who apply and qualify early. Below are links to state and local scholarship sources as well as websites with information on national programs. Be organized and communicate with me to meet all deadlines.

TN Hope or Lottery Scholarship

• Be a TN resident

• Complete FAFSA

• Have 3.0 GPA or ACT composite of 21

• Graduate and apply to college in TN (four or two year)

TN Promise 

for Two year colleges or an Associates Degree from a four year college. Last dollar scholarships. Will cover remaining tuition costs after other aid and scholarships are applied.

• Be a TN resident

• Complete FAFSA by November 2nd

• Apply to and attend a two year college program.

• Separate application. - see attached directions.
