Map of the 1833 Cherokee Removal

GIS class worked with Google Trails in order to make a map of the Cherokee removal for the East Cherokee Nation. This map was presented at a formal presentation in May FOSS4G -(This is free in open source mapping). This was the first FOSS4G conference ever in Tennessee. This map and presentation got so much attention that RBHS's GIS class was asked to prepare teachers to map in August and October 2017, as well as present work in the North Carolina GIS conference in 2018.
