There are videos to show you how to set up and conduct the experiments.

Please keep a journal of those you did, and show me when we return to School.

As Year 5 & 6 students, we experiment with the variables changing – that is make a slight change and record what happens e.g. add extra acid, use oranges instead of lemons, add more water, add another alkaline substance, reduce the food colouring, add lemonade etc.

If you find some we have not done, and you think we can do them as a class, please let me know and you can show the class.

Google search other science experiment websites and please let me know about the fantastic ones that you find.

Never forget there is science everywhere you look. It is a great habit to try and explain the everyday things you see around you - through a scientist’s eyes.
