The purpose of this website is to help parents navigate the many needs of your band student. Many times parents ask me questions and I have to shuffle through stacks of information to find the specific needs. Ashley Godbee
Director of Bands
Ashley Godbee is a graduate of Perry High School class of 2011. She received her undergraduate degree from Mercer University and graduate degree from Georgia College and State University. Her career started as the Assistant Band Director at Perry High School. In 2016, she became the Director of Bands at Gray Station Middle School in Jones County before returning to Houston County in 2019 as the Associate Director of Bands at Bonaire Middle School. Mrs. Godbee is beginning her ninth year as a band director and is very excited to return to her alma mater.
Mrs. Godbee is a staff member at the Athena Music and Leadership camp and has performed at the Georgia Music Educators Association state conference and at the International Midwest Clinic. Mrs. Godbee enjoys playing trumpet and has performed with artists such as The Temptations and Otis Redding III. Her professional affiliations include GMEA, PAGE, & NAFME.
