There are different options for appointments to schedule (which can be done by emailing the Lab Manager, Alex Griffith @ agriffith@hbuhsd.edu), read below for descriptions of each type of appointment to determine which will be best to fit your needs. Want to see a local student-run aquarium? Need a break surrounded by natural beauty of the sea? Schedule a time to come in and take a look around at our facility with Alexandria Griffith, Lab Manager (agriffith@hbuhsd.edu)
**This appointment type is limited to weekends from 9AM-12PM
EDUCATION
EDUCATION
Never seen the Innovation Lab? Anyone can request an appointment for an optional guided tour of the Innovation Lab, and an educational visit. The tour takes about 20 minutes, depending on the depth you'd like to go into, as well as if you are interested in seeing both the Indoor, and Outdoor facilities. Outside visitors MUST come through the front office if your visit is taking place during school hours.
After the optional tour, staff will give information on the conservation efforts and research we perform in the facility, and what we as a community can do to help aid in marine conservation efforts. We will answer any questions you may have about what we do to contribute towards conservation, marine science, and our program.
