This was how the Edison Innovation Lab looked in 2014! Born from a dream to provide students with a "hands-on, minds-on" learning experience, for a broad area of life sciences. Watch the video to learn more about how the Lab got it's start!
Old systems are taken down, repurposed, and given new life with a new system. Each new system provides an opportunity for students to use their engineering skills to build the stand, design plumbing, calculate flow, plan electrical work, and more. With each new design, we are determined to improve our design/ engineering skills for a better, more efficient Innovation Lab. To see more about our individual systems, take a look at Our Projects.
Every year that goes by, the Innovation Lab grows in quality, and expands the amount of opportunities it's able to give students.
While we are unsure what the Innovation Lab will look like in the future, we would love to know what YOU want to see in the Innovation Lab! We are dedicated to serving the community, and primarily our students to provide as much education, and experience as possible to everyone we can. Please see the contact information below to submit any requests for additions/ changes to the Innovation Lab! We look forward to hearing your feedback!
