Does Hermosa Beach Preschool offer before or after school child care for preschool students? At this time, we do not offer STAR Education before or after school child care or after school enrichment program for preschool students.

What are the requirements for children to enroll in the Hermosa Beach Preschool? In order to enroll in our preschool, children need to be two years and nine months old at the time of their start date, and be potty trained.

Do you have to be a Hermosa resident to enroll in the preschool? Priority will be given to Hermosa Beach residents, but we are open to the public and surrounding neighborhoods.

What will class configuration look like? We have two preschool classrooms for ages 3 and 4. Each classroom is arranged according to the student's birthday.

How can I get involved? We invite you to become involved in non-profit parent groups - Hermosa View, Vista & Valley Parent Teacher Organization (HVPTO) and Hermosa Beach Education Foundation (HBEF).

Do you provide naptime? Naptime is not included in our half day preschool program but is provided in our full day program.

Do you offer a summer program? At this time, our Hermosa Beach Preschool is not open during summer.
