Hermosa Beach Preschool at View is dedicated to providing a hands-on curriculum and social-emotional tools to help our preschoolers develop a strong readiness to learn and grow. We understand that early childhood is a critical period for laying the foundation for future success. Our passionate educators are committed to creating an engaging and supportive environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our preschool program incorporates dynamic classroom instruction with caring, qualified teachers and enriching indoor and outdoor play experiences. We know that these first experiences within a school setting will have a long-lasting impact on children’s future. Through a balance of academics and play-based learning, Hermosa Beach Preschool at View provides students the opportunity to build the necessary physical, social, emotional, and academic skills essential for success in Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and beyond.

We Offer:

• Full-Day Program - 8:00 AM-4:30 PM; Monday-Friday and a Half-Day AM Program - 8:30 AM-12:30 PM, and a Half-Day PM Program - 12:30-4:30 PM Monday-Friday for 2 years and 9 months to 4-year-olds over ten months (August-June)

• State-of-the-Art Facility & Classrooms at Hermosa View School

• Morning snacks and drinks at no cost, and Lunch at $70 per month

Admission is open to any child between 2 years and 9 months to age 4, provided the Hermosa  Beach Preschool can meet the needs of that child. Children must be potty-trained to enroll. Students from Hermosa Beach and our surrounding neighborhoods are welcome to apply to the Hermosa Beach Preschool at View "Where Little Minds Shine!" 

The Hermosa Beach Preschool at View operates under the policies and procedures of the Hermosa Beach City School District and the California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, in compliance with Title 22 of the Education Code.
