Step 1: Hermosa Beach Preschool Application Form

• Submit a completed Hermosa Beach Preschool Application Form with a $100 non-refundable fee payable to HBCSD.

• Hermosa Beach Preschool Application Form can be dropped off or mailed to:

• Your application will be processed in the order of the date submitted. While applications from outside Hermosa Beach are accepted, priority is given to residents of Hermosa Beach.                  

Step 2: Notification

• You will be contacted immediately by email and/or phone regarding the status of your application for the 2025-2026 school year.

Step 3: Online Enrollment

• Once a spot at the Hermosa Beach Preschool becomes available, staff will email you directions on how to complete online enrollment.

Step 4: Return Registration Packet

• Return the Hermosa Beach Preschool Registration Packet and bring appropriate payment (first month's tuition, last month's deposit, and registration fee) to the office with all appropriate forms (birth certificate, immunization records) within ten days to secure your spot.  

Required Forms:

• • 1. Hermosa Beach Preschool Admission Agreement - 2025-2026

    2. Personal Rights (LIC 613A)

    3. Child Care Center Notification of Parent Rights (LIC 995)

    4. Physician's Report (LIC 701) must be completed and signed by your child's physician prior to the first day of school. 

    5. Provide Original Birth Certificate (a copy will be made in the office)

    6. Copy of an up-to-date Immunization Record

Required Fees: First month's (August/September) and last month's (June) tuition and a $150 registration fee. Checks should be made out to "HBCSD," and on the memo line, write "Preschool: Child's first and last name."

2025-2026 (Includes First & Last Month's Tuition + Registration Fee)

• • $2,300 for a half-day AM & PM program 

  • $2,700 for a full-day program 

Upon completion of the above steps, your child will be officially enrolled for the start of the school year.
