Extended Care Program

The Extended Care Program complements the Kindergarten programs. Learning through play will be a focus and will consist of stimulating activities, planned and spontaneous during the session, both inside and outside. The inquiry focus from sessional kinder is continued and built upon in the Extended Care program.

The children attending the Extended Care Program are signed in/out of their sessional Kindergarten room by the Extended Care staff. Smooth transition from the Extended Care Program to and from sessional Kindergarten is a priority and focus for all the staff. We ensure this transition is carried out in a nurturing and safe manner.
