Work Experience 1 - Sonas Healthfood

Description: For my first work experience I went to Sonas, a health food and very busy coffee shop in Newcastle West. I was there from the 9^th to the 13^th of November. I was working from 9.30 to 3.30 ish every day. It was very nice to get the experience of working in a shop and it was great to get the experience in day to day tasks in a shop and working on a coffee machine. Overall it was enjoyable and I learned loads.

3 things I liked:

1) Learning to use both the tills

2) Meeting lots of new people every day

3) Learning how to make hearts on top of the coffees – Latte Art

2 things I learned:

1) Learning how to make all the different coffees and practicing them every day

2) Calculating the prices of products and pricing them

1 thing I might change:

1) Working all day indoors, I prefer working outdoors
