Term 1

Mr. Finn was my English teacher this term. We learnt about comparative studies. We were focusing on the beginnings of our 3 chosen texts. These texts were 'Lies of Silence' a novel by Brian Moore, 'Dancing at Lughnasa' a play by Brian Friel and 'Brooklyn' a film. We then had to write a comparative essay comparing the openings of these 3 texts. Attached is this essay.
