Listed below are the intervention programs your student is currently using. I see your child 3 times a week, either during study hall or during their ACHIEVE time for 40 minutes a day. ACHIEVE time is designated as a time in which students are getting what they need to do in order to achieve... getting better each day!
CommonLit- CommonLit is a website that has over 2,000 reading passages, including short stories and poetry. Students read an assigned passage, annotate, answer questions, and complete a writing prompt. Their assignments can be accessed through Google Classroom.
Take Aim!- Actively engage students in vocabulary development with Take Aim! at Vocabulary. Students participate in research-based vocabulary lessons to learn the meaning of high-utility words and to develop lifelong vocabulary acquisition techniques. This program is not website based.
