All middle and high school students in Massachusetts are required to participate in a Student-Led Civics Action Project and complete the Six Stages of Action Civics. This webpage showcases projects from the middle schools and Haverhill High School to provide students with an opportunity to look at past projects and issues that have been identified as important to Haverhill's students.

Haverhill was selected to send 3 Civics Projects from the State Showcase to represent DESE at the 2024 National Council for the Social Studies Conference in Boston, MA, this past November. Two projects were from the middle school division, and one was from the high school division; they all received commendations for their action steps at the 2024 state showcase.
