We plan to create shoes.
What unique qualities will your project have?
Our project allows you to wear it, walk in it, and it works great.
Day 1
We watched a video in class.
Day 2
We made a drawing and planned out what we wanted our shoe to look like
Day 3
We started the base of the shoe with popsicle sticks and layers of cardboard.
Day 4
We created a side and back for our shoe.
Day 5
We had to improvise because the result of the shoe wasn't coming out well, so we decided to make our own shoes called "Yo Bros".
Day 6
We made the top of our shoe and added a finishing touch of covering the shoe with duct tape.
Using cardboard, tape, popsicle sticks, I created shoes because shoes was the first thing we thought of.
During this process, I learned how to make "yo bros" also known as hey dudes out of cardboard.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because we made shoes with out having to look online for any ideas.
A challenge I overcame on this project was being patient in what I was doing. I was able to do it by having my friend help me with what I am doing.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the bottom of it so it had more support. The reason why I would change it is because we only had a row of popsicle sticks and cardboard.
