Using imovie, ipad, Glow forge, pc I created A lasercut piece of wood because I did it before but i wanted to do it again
During this process, I learned How to change the tray out of the glowforge
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because my project is on this website and this website is shared with the world.
A challenge I overcame on this project was finding a square piece of wood. I was able to do it by using a rectangle piece and changing the size of the grid in Tinckercad.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size of the piece of wood. The reason why I would change it is because I think it would be cooler bigger.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineer9ing and design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Mechanical technician because They deal with laser cutters.
