8P1-Video

Using iPad, iMovie, and Google. I created a video about what I did this summer because I did a lot of things this summer that I could make a video about. For example I went to Ceader Point, I went camping with a friend at Higgins Lake, I rode quads at my house, and went to a hockey camp at Western Michigan  University.

During this process, I learned how to layer sound effects, and soundtracks, on iMovie.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global collaborator because My video is on this website, and this website is shared with the world.

A challenge I overcame on this project was thinking of ideas for my video. I was able to do it by asking a couple friends to give me some sort of idea.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the idea of my project The reason why I would change it is because is I think that there is a couple of other of ideas that would be more interesting to make a video about..

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in movie producing because producers plan, and write script for movies, and that pretty much exactly what I did. I planned a movie, and made a movie.
