I brainstormed what I wanted to do

I decided I want to use my project from last year

Kept making changes on my 3d print to make it better

I started 3d printing Lightning McQueen

Using tinkercad, 3d printer, an iPad, and iMovie. I created lightning McQueen because I designed it last year and wanted to print it. I made a couple changes to the structure. I then printed it.
During this process, I learned how to send an STL from TinkerCad. I also learned how to put an SD card into a 3d printer then print it.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because it is on this website and this website is shared with the world.
A challenge I overcame on this project was putting it into the 3d printer and printing it. I was able to do it by looking at the videos on this website, and asking friends.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the difficulty of my project. The reason why I would change it is because I would want to make a different project that is a little bit harder.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering and deign CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in designing because I designed it on my own.
