Day 1

Learned about the micro bit and did my planning questions and list of 10 good ideas.

Day 2

Learned how to code the micro bit and tell it how to spell my name .

Day 3

made a counter and a dice.

Day 4

Made a duck and a turtle and made a thermometer.

Day 5

Me and Micah spent the whole hour trying to make ducks teleport between out micro bits.

Day 6

We kept trying to fix our teleporting duck.

Using MicroBit I created a name badge, a counter, a dice, a duck and turtle, and a thermometer because they sounded fun and easy to make.
During this process, I learned how to use and code a MicroBit
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I put it on a website which is shared with the world.
A challenge I overcame on this project was coding I was able to do it by following the directions on the instructions.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the difficulty of my project. I would like to explore around and try some of the harder difficulties The reason why I would change it is because I want to see what the harder projects look like.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programing CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in code testing. Code testing is when someone gives you a code and you have to make sure it works. My project ties to this because It involves using an testing code.
