Daily Log:

Day 1 Playing with the Sphero's and doing ramps with them.

Day 2 taking videos of the Sphero's jumping and taking pictures of the Sphero's on the course.

Day 3 Editing the Sphero videos so they have no background sound.

Day 4 Done with the project and sharing all the videos and pictures with my group.

• Using Sphero's, I created to see how far a Sphero can jump because I thought it would be cool to see such a little thing jump so far.

• During this process, I learned to duck tape the jump ramps on the ground because the ramps kept on falling or turning around to the other side.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I solved how far a Sphero can jump in slow-motion and in a regular video.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the jump ramps to stay on the ground and to get the Sphero's lined up with the jump ramps. I was able to do it by using duck tape and just getting the Sphero's lined up with the jump ramps.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change to use a bigger jump ramps. The reason why I would change it is because to see if that would be better then the small ramps.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Steam-base education tools.
