7P3-Micro:Bit

Using __A microbit, a computer, and the microsoft make code editor______________, I created ______I created and programmed multiple projects for my microbit________________ because__the projects I chose seemed like a fun idea to code.__________________________.

During this process, I learned ____basic phython coding skills. I am glad I learned to code with Phython and I thought it was a fun experience.______________________.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to ____________Creative Communicator___________ because _______although I didn't create ____Original pieces of work, I did remix some of my works and change them to my liking._________.

A challenge I overcame on this project was _____not having much coding experience to begin with_____________. I was able to do it by ____using the program in order to assist and aid in teaching me coding skills. Although I knew how to use block code fairly well because I have had a lot of background using it, I wanted to challenge myself and learn how to type with Phython._I thought the program was pretty good but I did have one problem with it. I wish the program helped me better understand what the code I was typing actually did.  The program has basically taught me that if I typed this line of code in, this thing would happen. It conditioned me to expect a certain response from a line of code but I never felt like I never actually knew what the code really did.__________________.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change ______________the projects I did______________________. The reason why I would change it is because _______my Pyhton coding skills are barely basic and I was using the program as crutches the whole time. I regret doing that and wish I did something independent from the tutorial._____________.
