Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working in a team.
What materials will you need for your project?
Cardboard, tape, hot glue gun,
What is your plan to create in this project?
Me and my team plan to create a foosball table.
What unique qualities will your project have?
Our project will be unique because it won't simply be an art piece to admire. Our project will be interactable with in the sense that you can actually play foosball on it.
Day 1
We started creation of our project. We didn't make a lot of progress. We mostly planned ahead and got ready for the days to come.
Day 2
We began putting some of our ideas in place. We still have a decent ways to go but are making good progress.
Day 3
We added some finishing touches before eventually finishing up for the day. We are awaiting items that my teammate will bring. Once we have those items, we will be able to finish the project.
Day 4
We finally finished! We put in our pvc pipes in order to finish the project. It was a blast to play to create.
Using cardboard, PVC pipes, duct tape, hot glue, cardboard scissors I created a foosball table because we thought it would be a fun idea. We didn't want to create a cardboard show piece, we wanted to create something you could interact with and share the experience with others.
During this process, I learned _______________to become a better thinker. At first, this creation, this challenge as a whole seemed daunting. I thought creating something presentable would be too complicated. While I do not speak for the others, this was not far from the truth. This challenge challenged me to think harder and better, constantly trying to figure out the best way to do something, or how to improve my "final" creation even further.___But in the end, I came out with something presentable, which might not have been possible without the assistance of my outstanding teammates, who, as a group, helped triumph over over obstacles, which seemed so big and scary in the moment, they turned out to be minor inconveniences. ________.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to __________Innovative Designer_____________ because _____There was a lot of planning in order to get to our final project. We also made many different changes in order to better our project, constantly scrapping ideas that in place of better ones. Obviously, we are not professional foosball table makers and do not have access to the same resources that people who do professionally make foosball tables have. This means we have to innovate and come up with ideas that fit within our resources and guidelines, whilst also being efficient.____________.
A challenge I overcame on this project was ______not having access to multiple different materials____________. I was able to do it by _____Improvising and innovating. We needed to come up with ways in order to reach our end goal without an assortment of various resources and tools. __________________.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change ______the size of our foosball table________________________. The reason why I would change it is because ______I'm satisfied with our final project but Given the chance to redo this project I would definitely make the foosball table larger. I think it wouldn't be a problem making the foosball table larger as all we'd have to do is upscale our project. Plus, we would be able to fix some problems that were overlooked in the original design (e.g, the ball getting stuck)._____.
