Using Tinker-cad and 3d printers, I created a shower drain plug. Most of the time in the house is 3 girls so I built something to collect all the hair. It should hopefully be very useful.
During this process, I learned how to work independently. How to problem solve. Plus how to time manage without getting distracted.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I built my own thing. I also built my own website. I also watch videos on how to do things when I was stuck
A challenge I overcame on this project was not getting distracted. I was able to do it by focusing my attention on creating my object. Also by blocking everybody else out.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size of my project. I would have made it much bigger its so small it wont work. I didn't keep track of the project size. I only looked at the size of the grid. Next time I will double check the sizes.
