My Movie 2.movDeath Drop
Using cardboard and iMovie, I created a disk drop game because thats what me and my group came up with and it sounded fun.
During this process, I learned how to build with cardboard, how to problem solve and teamwork .
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I came up with my project how to build it and how to create instructions/rules for it.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to make the disks go through without getting stuck and how to make it stand on its own. I was able to do it by adding a stand to the back of it and by shrinking the disks.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the pegs to be farther apart. The reason why I would change it is because it was hard to make the disk fall out the bottom by itself.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineer Designer CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in arcade attendance .
