• Reflection

• Using https://microbit.org/ and a micro-bit, I created 9 different codes on the micro-bit because I thought it would be a good idea to learn how to code different things.

• During this process, I learned how to code, how to use a micro-bit. and how to problem solve and be creative.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to  Innovative Designer  because i took some of the codes and tweaked them to be a little different but still do the same thing.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to make the code work. I was able to do it by watching YouTube videos explaining it and what codes to put in to make it work.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change my codes. The reason why I would change it is because I would've liked more interesting and challenging codes.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Applications developer and Graphic designer .
