Using The Dash Robot and the I Pad, Gavin,Quentine,David and I were able to create a dash robot were we made it spin,move forward,move backwards,talk and repeat things we said and a lot more. We wanted to use the dash robots because we haven't done it yet and we thought it would be fun to try because lots of people in our class have already tried it and they all said it was fun!
During this process I learned how to make a code and make the dash robot move forward,backwards,sideways,spin and repeat what we said but we had to make a code in order for it to all happen.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner,Digital Citizen,Knowledge Constructor,Innovative Designer,Computational Thinker,Creative Communicator and Global Collaborator.My project ties to Global Collaborator, I had to think to make the codes.Innovate Designer, I had to use the I pad to make the robot move.Empowered Lerner I got to chose what I got to do.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to connect the dash robot to the I Pad . I was able to do it by asking classmates how to do it. It took us a little while to do this but finally we decided just to reset it and it worked!! So then we were able to to start our project
Given the chance to do this again I would wanna do a smaller group because with one dash robot its hard to do it with four people. I would wanna change this because there is not a lot of things four people can do because it only takes like two people to make a code. That is the reason I would wanna change the group size it I was given the chance.
