Using the Tello Drones,Quentine and I made a Tello Drone go up and over the staircase in our commons area.We wanted to create this because we thought it would be more fun to make it more challenging than last time because last time we made it go up and down and that's about it so this time we wanted it to make it more challenging this time and it was.During this process we learned how make a code that made the tello drone go up and over the stairs.We learned that making a longer code it challenging.It took us like 15 times before we got our code how we wanted it and how we needed it to work.The seven standards of the class are Empowered Learner,Digital Citizen,Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer,Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator and Global Collaborator.My project ties to Empowered Lerner because we got to chose what we did, Global Collaborator because I think to make the code and Innovative Designer because we got to use the I Pads. A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to make a code that worked because it took us like 15 times before we got the right code because we never could get the perfect height to go up high enough so it wouldn't hit the stairs and then to repeat that because we needed the Tello Drone to go up and over the stairs.I was able to overcome this by asking for help and go back and look at our old code we made first to see how we can make it better.Given the chance to do this again I would want to make the drone go around the whole commons because I think it would be more challenging and I think it would be fun.This project connect to careers in coding anything and programming anything.
