The first stage in design thinking is empathize and that is understanding the problem and allowing us to connect with another and understand how they are feeling and understand the challenge they are taking on and learning about the person. This involves talking to experts, observing, engaging and empathizing.
The second stage in design thinking is define and that is analyze, interpret, and plan and articulate the problem you are trying to solve. In the define stage you take all of the information you have from the empathize stage and put it together. The define stage will help the designers in your group get great ideas and establish features, functions and other elements that will allow them to solve the problems and resolve issues with themselves with minimum difficulties.
The third stage in design thinking is Ideate and that is to imagine, research, and ponder. In the Ideate stage you evaluate and celebrate the possibility, When you are in the Ideate stage you need to start thinking outside the box and try and find new solutions to the problem that you have created.
The fourth stage in design thinking is prototype and that is to apply creativity to create. In the prototype stage you will produce a number if inexpensive scaled down versions of the product you are trying to create this is a experimental phase and it is used to find the best possible solution.
The fifth stage in design thinking is try your solutions out and that is to review and revise. In the test stage you design your product you test it out and if it doesn't work you try again until you get it and once you get it your product is done.
