Using Bloxels, I created a mini-game because it was my first time using the app/bloxels in general. I wasn't going to make a super hard mini-game that I couldn't accomplish within a week. I also wanted to try something new that I haven't tried before. It was a new experiment for me and I enjoyed it.

During this process, I learned how to make a game using bloxels. I learned how to make the character move how to use the blocks to make them form a game/level. I also learned how to use the app and connect the game board to the ipad to play the game.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructor because because i had to construct the game using blocks and a ipad and game board and I had to use them all to create a game. I also believe knowledge constructor ties to it because i had to use my resources to create a game.

A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing how to use the app or bloxels and learning how to use the app and bloxels to create a game. I was able to do it by watching videos, looking things up. I was also able to do it by figuring out what the blocks so then the game would work.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how hard my game was. The reason why I would change it is because I would have more experience the second time and I felt like i could have made the game harder. I would also make more villians so that it would be harder.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in video game creating because i created my own game.
