Using a sphero bolt and homemade bowling pins, I created a bowling game because it seemed fun to make and easy to do. I chose something easy like bowling because it was my first time using a sphero bolt and I just needed it to be a easy quick thing to accomplish.
During this process, I learned how to make decent bowling pins, how to use a sphero bolt, how to make the sphero bolt go in a straight line, and how to use the app for the sphero bolt. I learned how to adjust the pins and the sphero bolt so i could move it and make sure it knocked them down.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I had to make the bowling pins, and I had to make the sphero bolt go in a straight line and had to think about how and what i was gonna use to make the bowling pins.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making the sphero bolt his the pins and go in a striaght line. I was able to do it by putting the sphero bolt kinda over because it kept going diagonal a little bit and so i just either moved it to the right or to the left.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the set up of the bowling pins and I would maybe make it go farther and code it instead of draw it. The reason why I would change it is because it would give me more of a challenge and it would makie it more interesting.
